Dishonest Service Manager:
Vehicle in question: 2015 ATS AWD
I visited the dealership in late 2014 to lease an ATS; salesman I dealt w/ treated me like a child so I went to Gold Coast and leased the vehicle in question. However, I've brought my vehicle to Malouf since 2015 for service as its closer to my house than Gold Coast.
I had 0 issues w/ service @ Malouf until recently. I was LIED to and told I needed new rear brakes on a car w/ less than 30k miles (most of them country, not city miles). I asked for a print-out of the technician notes, and was denied a copy.
Thinking something fishy was up, I brought the vehicle to Hudson Cadillac in upstate New York, where the vehicle was inspected a 2nd time. The service manager there tells me plainly: "I'd love to take $600 from you, but you don't need new brakes at all sir". Proceeds to give me vehicle technician report and readings.
I suspect this wasn't an honest mistake, and the issue has been brought up to Cadillac Corporate for them to inspect further.
Needless to say, this review will be posted wherever possible online, and I'll never do business w/ or recommend a Malouf dealership to anyone ever again.
