Our family has been using Meg for years as our tax preparer. In the past we were always pleased with her services. Our bill has always been under $650. This year, in addition to the headaches of speaking with multiple people (about the same issue) at her office to complete our return, she shocked us with a bill of $1750. This is a 269% increase over last year's bill. We had NO notice of an increase. I do not feel it is ethical to raise rates in this manner.
