I reached out to McGough Bus Company to set up shuttles for my wedding in Philadelphia, PA. Theresa was extremely helpful along the way. However, on the day of my wedding the bus picking my guests up from the Loews in Philadelphia was 30 minutes late which caused my entire ceremony and wedding timeline to be pushed. Not only was the driver late but he had NO idea where he was going. My cousin who happened to be on this bus had to advise him where he was going and when he had to be back for pick-ups. My guests should NOT have had to worry about this! I not only had 1 or 2 people come up to me but about 10 plus people tell me that they had no idea what was going on and some even left the hotel and took taxis over to my venue. The second bus I hired picked guests up from the Crowne Plaza in Cherry Hill, NJ. Again, this bus driver had NO idea where he was going and went to a church. I did not get married at a church. Again, my guests were bothered by the driver on details of where they were going and when he had to return. The guest experience of this company was completely AWFUL! Everything about my wedding day was perfect other than my guest shuttles. The day after my wedding I sent an email to the company asking that they not cash my check until I had the chance to speak with a representative of the company. Before this I was basically begging them to cash my check because it was the only checks I had left outstanding out of my wedding vendor payments. Well, it was not 6am on the Monday after my wedding and my checks were cashed. When I spoke with the owner of the company all she did was offer excuses for her drivers. She did NOTHING to remedy the situation or my guests TERRIBLE experience. The thing she did not understand is that what was done was done. I would never recommend this bus company to anyone. Pay more money and hire a company that you can depend on that is professional and takes the guests experience into consideration!
