Since 1956, Metropolitan Ame Zion Church has been providing Miscellaneous Denomination Church from Birmingham.

Metropolitan AME Zion Church is a Christian congregation in the heart of the city. It plays an active role in the spiritual growth of the community with engaging services focused on Christ-centric values and teachings. They organize several ministry opportunities for all age groups. The wooden crucifix at the altar is the centerpiece of the sanctuary, a gathering place for like-minded believers.
