I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR ANY BUSINESS. THE SECURITY GUARDS WERE UNPROFESSIONAL AND THE MANAGERS ANSWERING THE PHONES WERE RUDE AND BLAME THE CONSUMER WITHOUT KNOWING THE COMPLAINT ITSELF IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE COMPANY. I SUGGEST LOOKING ELSEWHERE FOR YOUR SECURITY NEEDS. A PLACE THAT IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR MISTREATING PEOPLE, NOT A PLACE THAT HANGS UP OR PROTECTS THE SECURITY GUARDS IN ORDER TO PROTECT THE BUSINESS FROM GETTING COMPLAINTS AGAINST IT!!! If I could give it zero stars I would!! I was treated rudely by a employee of this security company " Mission Security & Patrol" . When I asked the on duty security officer to provide his security license number and name, He refused and was very rude. When I called to find out information regarding the security license of the officer regarding my complaint I wanted to file with Consumer affairs agency and bsis.ca.gov ; The Office of Mission security & patrol itself would not provide information regarding his personal license number or the license number of the business itself "Mission Security & Patrol" . When I tried to get the information to file my complaint for consumer affairs and to the state of California licensing security board I was told I could not have the information by the manager on the phone and was told I could only file a complaint with "him" with the company itself ( they only care about protecting their name not the complaint I had.) When I mentioned filing my complaint with bsis.ca.gov he quickly and rudely hung up on me. I believe it is unprofessional to treat people in this manner. It is also unethical to make it so that an security officer can not be reported or complained against, having the company protect his badge and their own reputation by masking, conealing, and denying any information that would make it possible to report a particular officer for rudeness and being unprofessional while on duty and licensed by the state of California and the manager answering the phone rude and unprofessional as well and therefore the company itself. By allowing a company to have security guards that can not be held accountable it becomes unfair to anyone that interacts with or is harassed by them. By withholding security license identification numbers as well as the company license and identification numbers itself is only in the interest of protecting the business and not with the interest of consumers themselves. By allowing this to continue, it fosters a environment where officers working for mission security and patrol as well as the company itself can not be held accountable for their actions and therefore are able to mistreat, annoy, harass, and badger any patron or consumer/shopper of a shopping center or mall in which they work. Particularly 5 points shopping center run by regency centers in Santa Barbara California. With no checks and balances the company and its employees are free to mistreat customers at their will, leaving the customers with no channel to file a complaint or any information to identify a guard by or the company's managers answering phones.
