Beer is beloved from many reasons from its flare for temporary problem solving to its bubbly personality. Celebrate suds at Monday Night Brewing, the Westside beer-making temple doing it's darnedest to fill the void or microbrewers within the city limits. Named for the founder's tradition of having friends over on Monday evenings to watch them brew and give feedback on their latest, this newbie is becoming a fast-favorite thanks to its unique potions, like a ginger infused beer called Fu Man Brew, shuffleboards and party-ready patio.

March Madness at Yeah! Burger, Hawktoberfest, and More:
VIRGINIA HIGHLAND— With a name like Murphy's, St. Patrick's Day is cause for celebration. On the menu, look for Irish soda bread, smoked haddock and onion soup, Irish lamb stew braised in Guinness, and Irish whiskey bread pudding. In addition to the food, Monday's festivities will include traditional Irish dancers and music beginning at noon. [EaterWire]

Information from the business

We brew beer for the weeknights. Balanced, flavorful ales that pair well with food. Weekends are overrated.
