North Star Academy Downtown Middle School

North Star Academy's Downtown Middle School is part of the North Star Charter network. It serves children in grades 5th through 8th and offers academic programs in social studies, math, science, English, and language arts. The school, which was one of the first charter schools in New Jersey, is headed by Principal Kelly Dowling.
