Beware!!:
My family and I just had one of the worst dining experiences ever!!!! Horrible customer service, this restaurant is ran like a mafia establishment treating their customers with blatant disrespect. We were charged for items we didn't order and were also overcharged for items we did order. Upon bringing it to their attention we were informed in a hostile manner that all prices on the menu are subject to change without notification. The chef came out of the kitchen rude and foul mouthed talking down to me, my girlfriend and my mother. I then brought it to the owners attention that the cook was demeaning his customers and he didn't care. The owner was drunk and told us to never come back. I felt like i was in an episode of the Sopranos. Beware!!! Eat at your own risk, because if you question your bill they might just bury you in the desert.... NO JOKE!!!

Locals' Secret:
I've been going to "Off the Strip" for the last few months at least once a week. The food is a wonderful mix of Italian and American traditional with some other stuff thrown in. The place is run by a couple of brothers transplanted from New York (one is the chef and the other handles the front of the house). The restaurant is fairly small and the atmosphere is very casual. (I don't have kids; but it seems to me that this would be a perfectly fine place to take them.) I particularly love the Linguini with Clam Sauce. My verdict is that if you're in the Southern Highlands area you should definitely try "Off the Strip" out.
