Austin's busiest gay bar and dance floor.: Popular with the younger crowd from the local universities, Oilcan Harry's is busiest Thursday through Sunday. Check out their website to see specials and when the go-go boys are there. It's right next door to Rain and near 3 other Warehouse District gay bars, making bar hopping a breeze.

Its name notwithstanding -- it's known locally as The Can -- this slick warehouse-district bar attracts a clean-cut, upscale, mostly male crowd. Consistently voted Austin's Best Gay Club by readers of the Austin Chronicle , this is the place to go if you're looking for a buttoned-down, Brooks Brothers kind of guy. There's dancing, but not with the same frenzy as at many of the other clubs.
