Saturdays at Opera Crimson nightclub:
David Judaken and Tag Front designed this 10,500-square-foot multi-room space. Opera has hand-blown amber glass and arched zebrawood ceilings, while Crimson is a rock ’n’ roll-inspired lounge with faux chinchilla and python-skin walls and staff dressed as Catholic schoolgirls.
Saturdays at Opera are truly something special - amazing music, nonstop action, filled with young, sexy HOT Hollywood party people! Never drama, only fun, fun, fun! The Dj keeps people on the dance floor, never a dull moment...and WOW always packed! I think the slowest Saturday night at Opera was 500 people! The staff is friendly and promoters very quick on their feet to deliver the definition of VIP service, you ask and you shall receive! Don’t just take my for it, see for yourself! I 100% guarantee that once you visit Opera on a Saturday, you will call it home, wishing everyday was Saturday! Who needs a Cold War to get your blood flowing over the Russians anymore? Blok, a throwback to old-school Moscow, offers a huge dance floor and red lasers and red candles and red curtains and dancers in lingerie and vodka, vodka, vodka. When things get too hot (or red), stumble out to the bustling back patio to smoke like it's Leningrad in the '80s.

If you're going to do the LA nightclub thing, you might as well go all the way, and there's no half-stepping here. Squeeze through the tight door (not so hard if you're super fab) and start with a cocktail in the, yes, Eden-like outdoor garden. Inside, it's all dark walnut walls, sexy brown banquettes, and fashionably rich patrons. Sidle in to one of 19 VIP tables and do the bottle service...

The space is huge. The egos are huge. The drinks are huge. Though the people are tiny, of course. Tiny little celebrities prancing about, making the scene, getting snapped on their way in. Memorize the entryway: perhaps all you'll see of the club. Tight rope, here. Made it in? Go spelunking. Many nooks to explore. Bring vodka and a flashlight.

If you were in the Mood a couple years ago, settle in for a night at the Opera.:
In Short
Old school nightlife impresario David Judaken--you know, the guy who brought clubgoers Garden of Eden back in the day and much later Mood--has put his stamp on this after-dark...
