Points is the best occult shop I've found in California so far. The energy of the place and the store owner is invigorating, peaceful, grounded and calming all at the same time. The store has a wonderful selection of books, especially hard to find books. Rhapsody is the store owner who met on my first visit yesterday. She was truthful, honest, and funny as can be when dealing with people coming into her store. I found a complete joy to interact with. I saw her share knowledge with people freely and cheerfully. I will be going here from now on instead of to other shops in Long Beach.

I was in this store last week & its my 3rd visit since June 08. A friend took me here because I used to go to "that other store" in Long Beach but was not comfortable with it. I ended up staying at Points of Light almost the whole entire Saturday. This place has the most wonderful assortment of items, and the incenses made by the owner are incredible. The store was busy most of the day, but the energy of the place was enjoyable, despite the chaos that people brought in attached to themselves when they came in. I watched the owner dealing with customers and saw lots of people interrupt her over & over, kinda like they were more important than who she was helping. Still, she treated people fairly & decently, but honestly, explaining that she was helping someone and would get to them when they turn came. I will never go to any other store since I found Points of Light.

The owner is a cat lover. Rhapsody can be found caring for her cats in the back of her store daily. She has an impressive amount of books and supplies in her store. She is really good with spells and custom making rituals for you. She is present and trust worthy. I wish I had found her store years ago! Life would have been much simpler.
