Tips

Bru is a great place to go if you enjoy the independent coffee house experience, great coffee, a little character, and friendly service.

Formerly Psychobabble, Bru's owner completely renovated the space into a sleek and modern coffee shop. The Ritual Coffee from San Francisco rivals the best coffees all over town. There's a communal table if you're looking to mingle with the friendly locals, or a loft upstairs with tables where you can zone out on your laptop. They make a great cappuccino here, or for something different, try the coconut green tea.

Editorial Reviews

Part coffeehouse, part art gallery, this moderately priced Los Feliz cafe features Ritual Coffee brews made with exacting care by obsessed baristas using the pour-over method. Just as notable is the striking minimalist space with a mezzanine up above where those working on their novels can hide away.
