My car was flooded on 7/10 and my insurance company contracted R&S Towing to tow my car to their lot at 10:30AM. They told me it would be towed by 3:15pm that day. I called them several times after 3:15pm asking about the time it would be towed because I needed to be home to give them the keys so the adjuster could complete their report at their lot. Their answer was they didn't know when they would come but they would call. I stayed home all day to receive them and they never showed up. At 10:30pm I called them again and still they said they did not know when it would get picked up, they told me that I should leave my phone on so I could hear their call because it could be in the middle of the night. I left me phone on all night and never received a call. The following day I walked outside and noticed my car was gone. I called them and say said they had the car. They never called me to notify me so I had to drive 45 minutes to Chalmette and back to give them my keys. They gave me attitude about it and did not apologize and just gave an excuse that they were busy. My claims adjuster came to their lot on 7/11 and completed the incident report. We discussed having my car towed to a collision center and the adjuster instructed R&S Towing to have it towed there on 7/11. It is now 7 days later and my car is still at R&S Towing. I have called them every day and they say "Your car will be towed today but we can't give you an exact time". They are liars. They are holding my car as long as they can so my insurance company will continue to pay storage fees. Meanwhile mold is growing in my car which will make my claim more expensive due to more repairs and a longer car rental time. This is going to make my insurance rate go even higher because the rude, lazy, and unethical practices of this company. I would absolutely never use this company by choice and do not recommend them at all. Every part of my experience with them has been negative.
