We found Richard West Jewelers on-line through reviews. We wanted an engagement ring made so we thought we would go see them. Richard came out of the back with his crazy visor on with a ring that he was finishing right in his had. He showed it to us and it was quite impressive. He asked us what we wanted and sat right down and started to draw a ring for us. After a few changes there it was, the ring we wanted. He said it was no problem to make and when we asked the price in platinum it was a little over our budget. He suggested a metal called palladium which was like platinum but less expensive. It's a platinum family metal which didn't tarnish like white gold did and was lighter that platinum. He gave us two sample rings to look at, one in palladium and one in platinum. We chose palladium because of the price and the comfort. To make a long story short ( I'm sorry but I'm so excited) he took our order and made the ring. The diamond looked so brilliant and the ring was beautiful. We can't tell you haw happy we were. He even took a picture of the ring and the two of us so we could e-mail it to everyone.
We feel like we're family in this store.

My husband bought me something for my 50th. He never spends much time trying to figure out what I would like, but after all these years at least he gives it a try. Anyway, we returned the item and Richard spent a great deal of time finding out what exactly I would like. Finally he came out with some beautiful stones and I absolutely went crazy over one of them. He made me the most spectacular ring with an exotic color change sapphire. I'm absolutely bonkers over it. Although my husband didn't hit the mark, he sure found the right jewelry store.
