Sage's Apples

Sage's Apple Fruit Farm is a 5th generation apple farm and market. The Sage's grow all the apples and most of the other produce sold. Peaches, Sweet Corn, Blueberries, Raspberries, Green Beans and other vegetables are all home grown.

Sage's Apples is a family fruit and vegetable farm and farm market. Everything we grow is sold through our local farm market... in Chardon. Our goal is to grow the best tasting and highest quality locally grown produce for our customers. In order to control this we grow as much of the produce our self as possible including the Apples that come from our 25 acre orchard. See More

History The present main barn was built by Jay Sage in 1917, and the house was built soon after. The initial intent was to develop a nursery business, but with slow sales and apple trees begging for attention, Jay planted his first orchard. The farm with its cows, chickens and sheep continued into the 1950's when son Allen graduated from Ohio State and got tired of taking apples into Cleveland...
