Arkar Mon is a fraud! He is claiming to be a 7th dan is several different martial art disciplines, but his severe lack of professionalism and inability to teach technique effectively led me to do some research. There is no record of his achievements in Aikido or Shotokan Karate. He is claiming to be on the same level as Steven Seagal in Aikido and after reviewing his demonstration on YouTube it was very obvious that he is no where near that level. Here is his "Blind Aikido" demonstration: He claimed he had to listen to the students footsteps but you can hear his students calling out techniques to him in Japanese. Now here is Steven Seagal: And here is an amazing documentary of Aikido and Steven just for kicks: Seagal: He also claims to be a professional bare-knuckle fighter and was undefeated with 16 wins all resulting in knockouts. According to my research there has only been one man in history to ever retire as an undefeated bare-knuckle fighter. Also, his "MMA program" is a joke. His grappling instructor, who is over 300lbs, claims to have been a state wrestling champion in high school. I wrestled for 8 years and have competed in 3 state wrestling tournaments and have been in contact with many state champions and it was clear to me that he does not possess the fundamentals of someone who was a state champion wrestler. He also claims to have taken Jiu Jitsu in the army, but clearly has not trained in the art since. He is not even able to demonstrate the techniques due to his size and he cannot give his students a clear understanding of the art. His MMA fighters have won little or no fights that they have entered. They don't even compete in local grappling tournaments. Also, Arkar offers a Ninjitsu class where he trains children to be ninjas. Here is a quote from his website: "We are recruiting the Ninjas for Ninjutsu. The fee is now $85 monthly with free membership to the gym. The total of 4 hours weekly training. The ability to swim is the plus, since we train in the water during the summer. You will be handling and mastering 25 weapons including modern hand guns and rifles. The minium age is 10 and up. Our ninjas are the special forces. They will be trained and educated as such. We have to organize one more water training before it gets cold. We will also have to train in the rain, at lease two more times before the winter." So by his own admission, he is training young children to be mercenaries who are skilled in the art of deception and death. It is your choice if you want to subject your children and yourselves to this man's lies and insanity. I just wanted to make you all aware of what I have witnessed first hand at his dojo.
