Everyone across the world is familiar with ice-cream, and Hawaii is overflowing with shave ice venders, but the chilled treats offered at Snow Factory are in a class of themselves. Located in the McCully Shopping Center, this blue and white decorated establishment offers up a concoction that is like a cross between shave ice and cotton candy, with maybe a little frozen yogurt essence thrown in...

Shave ice-type place but the ice is quite different; much finer and flavored. This is a newish place we found by sampling at a booth at the Rice Fair.

It's not shave ice.
It's not ice cream.
It's not frozen yogurt.
It's snow!
