South County Small Engine Repair

Just noticed these positive and mostly older reviews. I reviewed on Yelp 10/18/2014:
Rip-off artists. I had a feeling. I brought in a mower, told them I'd pay them for their time to diagnose the problem (gushing oil and smoke after a few minutes of running.) They wouldn't do that; they like to initially clean it up, sharpen the blade I'd already just sharpened, do stuff I don't want, and charge $95 for that. Any fixes that are actually needed and done, that $95 is applied towards the fix, but that they'd first diagnose the problem to make sure it's worth fixing. I called a few times until they said it was ready for pickup. Got it home. Started it, it went maybe 10 feet before gushing oil and smoke. It's still in my garage, next to the new mower I bought to replace it. Will donate it to a school small engine repair class or someone else who is honest and competent in case it can be fixed and used by someone.

My boyfriend's pressure washer would not crank, so we called South County Small Engine Repair! ROBERT told us to bring it in and he'd look at it... This guy is amazing on every level!! Friendly, funny, and most importantly for his business, really knows his stuff!!! After fixing the pressure washer issue within a few minutes, he also gave us some pointers on keeping it running well and how to clean the house with better ease.
I just can't say enough about South County Small Engine Repair and Robert!! If we have any other issues we will most definitely go straight to Robert!

I took my lawnmower to these guys and they did an awesome job with it. I initially thought that my bill was going to be high to repair all that was wrong with the mower but they wind up saving me about $80 in my repairs. I would definitely reccommend them to do your repairs and they offer very fast service also. I was ready to leave my mower for the weekend and they called me after about an hour to pick it up with the repairs done and they cleaned the mower. When I arrived for pick up they even educated me on many things that I did not know about my mower to perserve the life of it as well as get the optimum use from my mower. These guys definitely get my vote!!!!

I took my lawnmower there and i was amazed with the service i didn't think they were going to fix it so quick they made my old lawnmower look like new.
