I wish I had seen these reviews before going! Worst Experience I have ever had trying to adopt an animal. First off my husband and I have adopted before from the AZ Humane Society and had a wonderful experience. I felt that these people were rude and extremely judgmental. I feel bad for the dogs because with these type of people running this place, it will be hard for them to find a home. We saw a dog we thought we liked and wanted to play with them to see if we got a long. Before they would even let us touch the dog, we had to go through the interview process which was ridiculous and the entire time acted like they were afraid we would abuse the dog. I can understand having standards for adopters, but these people are beyond ridiculous. Because it was closing (4pm) we would have to come back tomorrow before we could even play and meet the dog. It's a miracle they even get adopted. Needless to stay, we left without being able to give a dog a good home and we will unfortunately not be going back. I really hope others read these reviews and take them seriously before going to this place. Again, the worst experience I've EVER had!!

We work very hard, we are a very clean, cozy shelter, and we are like a family here. We have policies on our adoptions, that reflect our "right to refuse any adoption", but this is all due to the guidelines we follow and the homes we seek for our pets. They have an excellent environment during their stay here, with many people to play with and always a warm bed to sleep in.
