Mr. Sykes owner of Sykes Automotive, 1183 Walker, Memphis, TN, was literally a lifesaver. We had been driving uphill, downhill, over/back on river dikes, in city traffic/freeway traffic. 2 blocks from his garage, the brake pedal went to the floor. Emergency brake/into low gear helped slow/stop without hitting anything or running any red lights. We pulled into an O’Reilley’s and said we needed a rear brake cylinder. They offered tomorrow. We said today. They suggested Mr. Sykes. We took the slow way there. White cement block building. Walked in, followed a maze and found a packed work area. Mr. Sykes listened to our needs; found the problem; replaced the LR brake cylinder. His work was impeccable; his speed of repair, outstanding. 2 hours start to finish.
