Tallmadge Branch Library

On October 2, 2000 the current Tallmadge Branch Library opened at 90 Community Rd. next to the Tallmadge Community Center. We are open 6 days a week to meet your needs for education, information and recreation. Current library statistics show that the Tallmadge Branch circulated 290, 502 items in 2009, and houses a collection of 82, 098 items with14, 114 registered borrowers.

Prior to its new location, the Tallmadge Branch Library opened in a store front in 1961 and moved into a 8700 square foot building located at 32 South Avenue in 1977 in a building owned by the City of Tallmadge that was built for library purposes with funds from the City of Tallmadge income tax at a cost of $332, 102.
