A World of Meat, Mostly Steak:
When you consider a steakhouse in LA for drinks, lunch or dinner, Taylors should be in the top 5 on your list. The atmosphere is dark and you can cut it with a knife, like a rare steak. It feels like you are stuck somewhere between 1930 and 1964 inside. Dark leather couches next to dark wooden paneling in a labyrinthine environment is hard to beat. The steak and service are fantastic. For a working lunch, romantic evening, fun evening or well deserved reward, Taylors can't be beat. There is some street parking nearby during the day but valet it at night.

K-town steakhouse:
This Korea town steakhouse has been there for years and is another classic old time spot. The interior is dimly lit with red vinyl banquettes. The steaks are a good value. Their hamburgers are made from the ground steak trimmings. This is a popular midtown lunch spot.

Taylor's Steakhouse Restaurant Review:
Steakhouses come and steakhouses go, but Taylor’s has been around since 1953. It looks it, with a so-old-it’s-retro-cool décor of leatherette booths, dark woodwork and red carpeting. Most guests --- from hipsters to oldsters --- wouldn’t want it any other way. The food, too, is classic steakhouse fare. There is a cocktail of chilled jumbo prawns to start, alongside a Caesar or wedge salad, and...
