Unorganized and extremely unprofessional:
This is a fairly small company (under 25 employees). They want to expand but the way the office is managed is outdated and causes high turnover. During my interview I was told that the office is very organized and ran smoothly but this is far from true.
There isn't an effective workflow to the office. Projects are thrown on anybody's desk and expected to be completed by unrealistic deadlines! They fabricate to clients about when the projects should be completed and when you ask for an extension it is frowned upon. Upper management will gossip about your failures in front of other team members and there is no sense of ownership of anything. The senior project manager has dropped the ball countless times and will not hesitated to thrown someone under the bus and roll over you. There is no loyalty to the project at hand only to an unrealistic deadline.
New employees are not trained (it's more of learn as you go and if you make a mistake we will talk about how stupid you are), things are growing more and more out of control because there is no effective style of management in place. I would consider a larger company and inquire about a detailed work flow and how work is distributed. If you choose to work here (Phoenix) prepare for low salary NO RAISES OR BONUSES long hrs and choosing between keeping your job or going to see your dying father (someone was told they can see their father at his wake and if they cared about their job they would stay) long story short she quit!
