Located underneath Tavern on Camac, owned by the same people and cooked for by the same chef, this restau-bar nevertheless tries to forge its own identity separate from its better-known older sibling. The menu here is far more extensive, offering full meat, poultry and fish entrees; the page-long wine list skews more haughty; and the clientele is somewhat more heterogeneous than in the longstanding gay bar above.
