Horrible....:
We had been long time, regular customers of Italian Chef..until last Friday. We ordered our regular pizza and wings. After a longer than usual delivery time: The wrong style of pizza arrived, wings were so hard I would say they were more jerky like, and pizza tasted like cardboard. We called and spoke to manager telling her the food concerns...She proceeded to ask how much was consumed...being as we are a family of five (five one servings) I estimated 1/3...She then offered $10 off our $40 dollar bill...what a joke and further was rude about it.....Ok food at best and horrible customer service
Subs:
The subs here are full of meat and they taste great..... I will recommend this place to all my friends and family...
Facinating...:
I was driving around on a Saturday afternoon, just spending a little quality time with myself, and I got hungry. I didn't want to stop just anywhere, and I'm not too familiar with the area, so I just drove for a while. Some places looked run down, some offered fast food, and others were just too redundant. When I saw the Italian Chef, I thought 'Ahhh, someplace new.' I knew they had to be good, because they were busy.
My father, a truck driver, told me once to never eat at a place no one else wants to. Next thing you know, I wandered in and was astounded by their menu. I thought they just had the best pizza in town, but no. These guys offered pastas, salads, pizzas; I mean they even have juice.
Astounded, I didn't know what to choose from. I ordered Pizza, Chicken Riggies, and Char Grilled Wings. First, I couldn't eat it all, second, who ever heard of grilled wings? I tell you what, I only order Grilled Wings from now on.
I did learn a few things by going here:
First, if for some reason greasy foods disagree with you, get grilled wings.
Second, some pizza places offer a catering menu (The Italian Chef) but most don't.
Third, if you want you food without waiting at all, order a head of time, especially on Saturday afternoons.
I also found out you can order from here, over the phone, online, or via fax.
Then again, I love waiting there, they always have something good on tv.
