Every Thursday, it's Old Wave/Retro '80s in Hell. These nights are famous in Atlanta, and it can get crowded down there.

Hell is always open to ages 18 and up. Concerts vary between all ages and 18 and up.

Historic and reportedly haunted old mill lives on bathed in black paint. The tri-level club is divided into Heaven, Hell and Purgatory. In Hell, the pit is a writhing dance floor with a club and retro soundtrack. Acoustic acts play and DJs spin in Purgatory. And national rock acts of all types take the stage in Heaven. Goths, metal heads, punkers and more co-exist.

Popular with the college-age crowd, Masquerade is housed in a century-old, stone-walled, Romanesque former factory. Its interior is divided into three main areas -- Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory -- all appropriately decorated. Up in Heaven is a concert hall featuring live local and national acts. Established in 1989, The Masquerade is a live music venue located in the old fourth ward near downtown Atlanta, GA.
