Good for a special night out:
I love restaurants where the food is cooked at your table. The Melting Pot is kind of like that. You're served your choice of meats, vegetables, etc. while your server prepares two fondue pots on your table's cooking plates--one with cheese, the other with oil for deep-frying. No, don't come here to eat for your health. Also don't come if money is a worry for you. It's a fun place for an occasional night out, though.
My wife and family celebrated her 40th birthday here. Not easy to do for large parties, since the tables only seat about 6-8 people and they cannot be moved. But we had fun anyway.
