Editorial Reviews

It's tricky to find the Study at the Modern Honolulu—it's behind a huge, revolving bookcase in the lobby behind the registration desk. It's an überchic space, with intimate alcoves and oversize sofas that are both hip and inviting. The literary-theme cocktails, like the "Huckle Berry Finn" and the "War and Peace," are pricey but cool.
