Never finished job. Installed wrong boiler (oversized, short cycling as a result). Left new-boiler sludge in system without draining or skimming (jeez!). Hooked up gas pipe wrong (failed inspection). Said my town didn't require a pressure test (it did). If he cared, he'd have done it right and not lied. Said he'd call me next week. That was three months ago.

Mr. Hall replaced my hot water heater about 8 years ago and overcharged me, according to what my father's (more honest) plumber recently told me. He assured me it had a 10 year warranty and was a great hot water heater. Well, today I noticed it is corroded around the base and leaking. When I looked at the model number, the warranty is only for 6 years, not the 10 years he assured me, and the manufacturer confirmed this when I called this morning. Mr. Hall also charged me for a permit he never delivered. I think he nailed me because a) I desperately needed a plumber at the time and b) I am a woman (but a much more informed woman now). I wouldn't use this plumber. He's a thief.
