In front of Tommy's Transmission is a metal sculpture of a cowboy with a gun! Consider yourself warned and don't go in!:
Very poor level of communication. He tells everyone their car will be ready later today or tomorrow. He told me that same thing for 8 days. While I was waiting there I experienced a very intimidating hostile environment with foul language and prolonged ranting behaviour on Tommy's part.
Maybe it was just a bad day for Tommy? He broke something while working on my truck and had a prolonged swearing rant in back I could hear sitting up front. "godamn cheap a@s parts!" A short while later after he ordered a replacement part he vented to a visitor behind the counter while I waited for my car repairs: Tommy said, "I am f@!%!*g tired and just really tired of people! It has not been fun!....I've had more people crawl up my a@s this week, over cars, it's just crazy! F@!k! People think that I just sit down here drink...whatever! Like I don't work on s@!t...one of the worst weeks ever. It'll get better but people they just get impatient....I don't give a s@!t what holiday is here if I work or not! You know it ain't like pouring a Godamned bowl of cereal...things are tough! Then I get people blowing up your phone, what's this? where's that? Where's this? (phone rings he yells he doesn't have time for this and will have to call back!) People just don't understand when their car breaks I mean......it's...it's..."
Visitor, "Not like when they're gonna drive it in here and can drive it out in 5 minutes."
So before you go in to his shop and think about dropping lots of cash for repairs remember he does not want sooo much business! He is sooooooo busy that he did not complete my work correctly. When I called to arrange for repairs he told me to drive my car anyway! I paid a Master Mechanic to get it drivable. The Master mechanic documented the work had not been done correctly. If he did not have time, or know how to fix it all he had to do was tell me and I would have found someone who could! I will never go back there again! I do not think that lies and poor behaviour are acceptable business practice.
Hey Tommy I work hard too! I wanted my car fixed so bad I worked 2 jobs for 2 months! I don't make as much as you so it really took me about a month of working 7-12 days in a row just to save to get the approximate amount needed for the work! Just imagine what it felt like for me that my car was not really drivable after waiting for 9 days, listening to your cursing rant, paying around $900 hard earned dollars, and then still can't get it in gear! And you tell me to drive it anyway? Seriously!
