Visit Touchstone in its new space, which forms the backdrop for the self-run co-op studio for 30 to 35 contemporary artists, each of whom has at least one work on display at all times.

Touchstone Gallery has maintained a reputation for exhibiting contemporary work of high quality,vision and innovation. The gallery's is:to enrich the lives of the community through exhibits of diverse contemporary collections of visual art;to promote a rich variety of artistic talent in the DC region;to connect collectors with its 45 member artists;and to foster continuing artistic careers.

Contemporary art created by 50 local area artists. We represent ALL MEDIA including and not limited to paintings, drawings, ceramic and stone sculptures, 3D collages and other mixed media objects of art, photography and many other.

The artist-owned gallery maintains an active membership of 30 to 40 artists. This number provides a diversity of artistic expression and personalities, yet allows ample exhibition space for each artist. The gallery is available for rent for special events and has two designated spaces available for rent to guest artists.
