TT Hardwood Floors

They did two separate job for me in less than 3 years. one hardwood floor ($7000) another one installing laminate + stairs ($7000). Issues I had during and after the job : 1) during the hardwood installation, I had to ask them several time for imperfection in their installation, after 3 years the color of the wood is still good but there are several places that there are gaps between two adjacent wood, in several places of the house you can hear squeeze noise, two of the steps start to bang when we step on them and most of the all, they broke one of my closet doors and did not tell me and I found it later, all my closet doors were lose and we had hard time to fix each and every of them For Laminate Job, the first two day Trung sent two unprofessional crew who could not cut laminates in straight lines, all corners were awful and I keep saying them to fix those. Finally he sent his best guy but since this guys should do all other jobs for other customers he was trying to finish my job very fast and that caused lot's of more imperfection in laminates and the stairs he supposed to finish for me. I again had to take picture of those problems and send back to Trung and they came back and fixed the issues. after they left I realized in one corner of the room they did not remove the glue of the previous carpet and the whole laminate was bumpy and it cut my foot the first time I step on that. I called them again and they came for fixing the issue but what was the fix? they created a big hole in one of the laminates and inject glue beneath the laminate floor to make it flat, then covered the whole with color chucking. I asked Mr Trung more than 10 time since we talk the first time till 6 months after they finish to get a summary of the work and the invoice but he kept promising for future and stop answering my calls/messages. I needed that invoice for my record and for my tax filing since part of the job was for rental apartment and we have to have invoice for considering those expenses as the rental apartment costs, but I did not understand why he refused to provide that invoice to me!! Unfortunately there is no option in this website to upload photos. I have several photos to show all these imperfection and lousy job. please be aware of these issues, do your research before hiring anybody and if you need invoice, get it before they even start the job. I had a plan to deduct $100 from his bill to make sure he will give me the invoice but he said he is honest and will provide it to me, so I believed him and paid him full but he did not stand with his promise till today. I wish he had behave with me better but it's what it is. Good Luck
