Shades of Jiro, this mega-expensive omakase-only Downtown sushi bar has a chef (Hiroyuki Naruke) whose last restaurant was so exclusive it only sat six. The space is comfortably understated, with natural wood that glows, soft hanging lamps and Japanese art.
