I've been going to this place for several years now and love my dentist. In the past, I've always asked for Insurance Pre-Determination before I get the work done, as long as you do this, you are okay. Two months ago, I had a cavity and needed filling on wisdom tooth. They did white filling as opposed to silver, without explaining the difference on the cost to me, and then charged me for above what the insurance would allow (they are In Network Dentist). I explained to the Office Manager that I should have been given an option, if I want to pay for the extra cost for the white; but instead, the option was not offered to me, they gave me white and they charged me more than what my insurance would cover. While I love my dentist, communication on how much it would cost to get a work done is weak. While talking my husband, he said that they did the same thing to him. There is a pattern here. I am not going back to this place. Truly disappointed.
