"Inspiring water views" from a barge docked on the East River lend a "romantic" aura to this "charming" venue that survived Hurricane Sandy, where a "pro" staff serves "excellent" American fare (and a "terrific" Sunday brunch); granted, it's best enjoyed "when your rich uncle is in town", but it's an automatic choice when it comes to "special-occasion" dining.
