once my dog was diagnosed with heartworm i searched frantically for a vet being more so on the broke side i need a steak on a hamburger budget so to speak. I looked for days and every place i called gave quotes ranging from $1000.00-$2000.00 for the heart worm treatment. Finally i consulted my mother who referred me to the Haltom City Animal Hospital she absolutely swore by them so i called they quoted me aprox $500 needless to say i made an appointment for the very next day!. I have never been so pleased by a vet before in my life as i have had quite a few animals throughout my life visiting many vets i had a good undertanding of what was standard, what was below and what was outstanding. They completely blew me away with their true interest in the animals and even the owners they have such a strong compassion for the well being of the animals they do what IS best for the animal and not whats best for their pockets if you know what im saying. i recently had to go back due to involuntary vomitting and unusual behavior my dog was displaying she unfortunately was diagnosed with parvo however easily able to have lost it they helped keep me together and eductated me to the full extent so i could take my world home with me and treat her in a comfortabel and stress free enviroment. This all happened yesterday and today they have called me to check up on her and to tell me what is normal and what is not (things you wouldnt know and would typically have to call THEM to find out) Dr. Anderson and his staff have been a true blessing to my furry companion and I without them vet care would not be realalistic for people like me. I have been and will continue to swear by and refer people to him. THANK YOU HALTOM CITY ANIMAL HOSPITAL :)
