For weeks now, I've had to tell everyone who kept asking that I hadn't yet been to A Tavola, the new pizza restaurant in The Gateway Quarter. Though I always wait for a bit before a first visit, I felt a little lame. The soft opening drew a crowd and the place has been packed ever since, with occasionally long waits for tables.

Belly up to the bar and you'll find something special --- not just handmade wood tables made by one of the owners, but hand-crafted everything. At A Tavola, in the trendy, renovated Gateway Quarter, a huge wood-fired oven imported from Italy takes center stage. We offer traditional neapolitan style pizza cooked in a Stefano Ferrara wood fired oven, and seasonal small plates, all made from the freshest ingredients.
