Al's Den in the Crystal Hotel

Yet another McMenamin's outpost, in the bowels of a former gay bath house (now, the McMenamin's Crystal Hotel). Subterranean lair 'neath Ringler's Annex, supposedly an actual speakeasy, back in the bad old days. Low-slung ceilings and small rooms chock-a-block, furniture-wise - charming, but not for the claustrophobic. Service is a notch above the usual McM's headlessness.
