Always Dependable Exterminating of Hampton Roads Newportnews

I have used this company for 2 years since moving to my house. They talked me into having my crawlspace and basement sealed for 5K because I had a rodent problem (city of Norfolk) and a moisture problem. They also held the termite contract for former owner so I continued with them. The last time he was here for the annual termite inspection he said there were rat droppings but he left more bait (no cost to me as he had left extra when he finished his job) I asked how they got in and he said it's cold and they will find a way. I was billed for the termite inspection and he charged me less and I asked why and he said "you are a continuing customer so it is all good." I then got a bill from the office for the termite inspection. When I called Stephanie was RUDE and said he did a rodent inspection. I told her not to come back. Terminex came in (my request) to do an inspection and found a dead decomposing rat with tons of maggots under the cellar stairs and open holes at all orifices in the basement, standing water (they were supposedly doing moisture control as well) and fur stuck in crevices. Such liars! They did put up new insulation but it is now ruined as the rats have gotten into it. I don't know what he did for 2 days but certainly it is a mess down there. They also found a trail of old termites which no one ever mentioned which needs to be followed and I was told by Always Dependable there were NEVER termites here. I am not out 5K and will have my husband call Stephanie and if this is not rectified (cleaned up and resealed and water gone) or money refunded then this stands and I will seek legal action. BTW they don't take credit cards without an extra charge. They apparently do the houses in the neighborhood and I will go door to door to explain my plight and tell them not to use them if they don't rectify this mess. It just makes me sick to think I trusted them and now rats may enter my living quarters as they have left their mark at the window nearest the opening to the cellar door. What a mess.

Always on time & technicians know what they are talking about. I'm not always home, but we trust them to come into our house w/out us there, they will do their work lock the house back up and they just do an awesome job. We have been with this company for 9 years now & plan on staying with them for several more years. Call them they will treat you like you are part of their family.
