Bad Technician:
Technician came out the first time to my rental house and wrote that they removed surface hair(a few small hairs on the removable trap, also I put a hair remover snake thing down to make sure this was not the problem before I called) and that it drained fine after this, which is a lit. So the property manager charged us for the visit. When I called the property manager to tell her we were still having the same problems a different technician came out and removed sludge(from the man line) and informed us that we needed new drum traps on shower and tub drain. How does the shower drain fine if the main line is backed up with sludge and these items need replaced? Both American Mechanical and Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Towne Realty don't listen well or care about their customers.

American Mechanical Inc? NO:
Yes, they may do great work but the customer service leaves a lot to be desired.
On one occasion, we were left on Christmas with no heat in the house because they had to order a part for the furnace and couldn't install it until it arrived from Mars, Venus - wherever they were ordering it from.
On top of that, the serviceman who came to the house was so abrupt and and downright mean that we decided this was not the right business for us to contact for future problems in the future.
We chose instead to go with Climatemakers in Virginia Beach after that bad experience. Not only did they always have the part we needed for heating and cooling on the spot, but their technicians and representatives were extremely caring and respectful toward us.
We've been with Climatemakers ever since.

Awesome Service at Great Prices!:
American Mechanical has serviced my electrical and plumbing needs for many years. As a property manager I like being able to depend on one company for everything. They have great knowledge and great prices! Thanks!!
