Applause Limousine Llc

This review is for Applause Limo, not our driver. We rented a limo on Saturday, August 1st for a wedding in Grand Rapids. We were staying in Spring Lake. We ONLY needed a ride there, and a ride home, with the distance each way being approximately 45 minutes. Our contract stated PICK-UP time in Grand Rapids at 1:00 AM (meaning that there would be obvious travel time back to Spring Lake and we would arrive home around 1:45). According to our driver (Mike, who was great), we arrived back at 1:50 which was appropriate. HOWEVER, we were then charged another $150 about 4 days later in addition to the charge that had gone through the prior week because we were "late" past the 1:00 AM time. I called numerous times and e-mailed and everything has gone unanswered. We finally disputed the charge with the credit card company as this is complete fraud.

AVOID Applause and go with a different limo service - they are completely dishonest and will not refund your money even when they are in the wrong. I hope this review, which I plan to leave on EVERY possible web site that I can, helps someone else before they make a poor choice.

Driver was 30 mins late, we then sat in the parking lot for 15 mins while he fiddled with the GPS, even though he had the itinerary before hand. Glassware was dirty. Everyone was terrible to work with, including when speaking to them on the phone. I requested to speak with the owner but they never called me back. I left several messages. They were clearly screening my calls. They promised to refund our trip for an our due to MANY difficulties on the trip. That money was never refunded...no wonder they don't want to talk to me. Very shady company.
