This business is poorly run in every way. I rented two dumpsters from them and both times I was sent invoices for additional charges. I rented the second dumpster for yard waste immediately after the first was picked up. Then I received an invoice stating the first dumpster was overweight. I emailed John Arwood himself asking for an explanation of this charge and how I know it's accurate, I never received a response. When the second dumpster was picked up, I received another invoice for $125 and $45. I called to inquire about these charges and was told that the $125 charge was because it wasn't construction waste. I explained that when we ordered the dumpster, we said yard waste. Apparently the customer is not always right, and they did not care. Someone in their office didn't do their job correctly and listen to my request and I was charged $125. The $45 charge was for an appliance or metal in the dumpster. I explained that there's no way we put anything metal in the dumpster because as I mentioned before, we used it for yard waste and debris. They didn't care about that either. To further disgust me, this company automatically charged my credit card for all of these ridiculous charges WITHOUT NOTIFYING ME. It was a credit card I no longer use, and it was pinged open because of their charge. I was never informed about these possible charges before I ordered the dumpsters, none of this information is on their website and when I asked if they have paperwork outlining these possible charges, they said no. How is this legal? How can a company charge their customers these fees that I have no way of proving or disproving? Fees that I was never informed about beforehand. If I had known I would be charged an additional $242 in miscellaneous fees, I never would have used this company. I have heard this complaint from other people who have used this company as well. This is a terrible business and I can't believe they get away with such unethical behavior.
