While I was on vacation in the San Bernardino Mountains I had an issue with my Explorer. My friend's local mechanic said it was possibly the front seal on the transmission, so he recommended this shop to fix it.
The car was towed to the shop, and they took a good deal of time to diagnose it. Turns out, the "leak" wasn't a seal, or even a leak. It was a relatively minor problem with fluid level. They adjusted the fluid level, and told me I could come pick the car up. No charge.
Most of us would expect a transmission shop to charge a grand for some made up problem. These guys were awesome. The staff, Pat in the office and Fred in the shop, were a pleasure to talk to.
I went ahead an asked them to do a routine service anyway, because it could use it and I wanted to give them my business. $165 out the door and I could NOT be more grateful for their integrity.
