Rude and Expensive:
When I called to make the appoint. to fix my air conditioner, I was told they would charge $90 to diagnose the problem. BUT, if I used them to fix the problem, the $90 service fee would be waived. A very nice repair man came by, viewed my unit, and said it would cost $536 to replace the fan motor. I was surprised at the cost, so I asked for a price breakdown. The repair man said it was for the service fee, labor, and the new motor, but wasn't sure on the specifics. I insisted I needed to have the costs itemized, as I was told the service fee would be waived. So the repairman called the office to request an itemized price breadkdown. He put me on speakerphone with a Bailey Brother, the owner, who was EXTREMELY rude. He refused to offer an itemized price. He said it was a flat rate, and if I didn't like it, too bad. I called a competitor on the spot for a price comparison. The competitors rate for replacing the fan motor? $210 = 60 for the part and 110 for the labor.
