Tips

Know Before You Go:
If you don't have time for a sit-down meal, pick up dinner on your way home. Whole rotisserie chickens, with mashed potatoes and green beans, are available for a reasonable price.

When to Go:
Baker's Crust serves breakfast seven days a week, but mid-week is the best time for eggs and toast--weekends get very crowded.

Although the food is appealing (try the crepes), the service is so-so. The atmosphere warm & inviting but service could use a renovation. Overall, every time I come to visit my family we always manage to drop by.

Top notch service. The waiting area was the size of my dorm room in college (tiny). The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is because my steak was a little dry. You must get the crepes for desert!

All in all, a fairly mediocre dining experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant was not particularly warm or inviting. We sat at our table for nearly 10 minutes before the waitress showed up. The food was OK. My Tuscan Tenderloin sandwich was not thoroughly heated. They had run out of cole slaw (at 6PM?) so I settled for potato salad in which some of the potatoes were partly raw. The waitress was a no-show for most of the meal, only showing up to refill my iced tea when we were ready to leave.
