It seems like a cheesy gimmick, needing a password to get in (ala prohibition days), but we love it nonetheless. Another welcome addition to the Tenderloin drinking scene, built to resemble a 1920s speakeasy. Secret bookshelf door that leads to a separate hidden bar a nice touch. Serious mixologists pouring rare whiskeys and creative concoctions. Go online to bet a password, or just say “books”...
