Beware--rip off hospital:
BEWARE. MY cat only had an ear infection and I walked out with close to a $300 bill. They even charged over $35.00 bucks to take my cats blood pressure!! They did not advise me of this fee until the visit was over and it was time to pay up. UNreal!! I will never go here again! They have tons of bills to pay as its a nice place with a ton of employees so beware that they will overcharge and find things to charge you for. People like this deserve to go out of business.
A good vet for birds and exotics:
I used to take my birds and some of my other pets to Dr. Bloss when she worked at the New Berlin Animal Hospital. I started taking them to Brook Falls when Dr. Bloss moved here.
Dr, Bloss is wonderful, very gentle with the birds, and takes her time. Smaller birds can stress easily from rough handling so this is very important. She is also supposed to be very good with rabbits and other small mammals.
I have never met Dr. Follet, but I think she treats mostly dogs and cats.
Pros: Very caring and friendly (animals are less stressed), knowledgeable, pleasant office, treats the usual dogs and cats in addition to many birds, average prices for the area.
Cons: Long waits. I often wait in the exam room for up to a 1/2 hour to see the vet.
