A well located choice for pre- or post-theater dining, The Capital Grille is one of the best of the chain gang, an upmarket eatery that delivers every step of the way. The vibe is comfortable and the crowd well heeled, service is dependable, the portions are generous and the beef is dry-aged on the premises. The large space may be packed, but it's not noisy. Meat, of course, is the way to go,...
The dry-aged steaks are worth every pretty penny spent. The 350 plus international wine selection fulfills every taste preference, and the smooth-sailing staff is always almost clairvoyant. Snug in a former bank, the bulk of the dark wood joint appears cozy, even being laden with stuffed game heads and extensive humidors. Really, this grille's a class act—cigars included.
A big-money, big-portioned, big-ego dining experience.:
