Chad Burkhardt of Chad tree Experts is a transient conman. Please note what I missed, all positive reviews were 2012. He was paid to remove a large tree for me. I mailed the check to the address on his proposal and let him know it was in the mail. He called me and asked me to stop payment and send to another address, which I did. A month after the check was cashed, the tree was still standing and he was not returning calls. A visit to the address the check was sent to revealed he had been staying with a friend and had moved on. Given that, I doubt he has the equipment to trim a hedge, let alone do a large job. I will be filing with the attorney general as well as small claims court, but want to save others from this thief.

They cut down an entire giant dead elm tree that was right over three utility lines, removed a large maple branch that threatened our electric line, removed some other branches on more trees.
A professional, seasoned crew with modern equipment, very safety-oriented, well-trained, smart, conscientious, friendly, helpful, strong, quick. Removed flowers at the base of the tree so they could be replanted (without being asked).
Did a great cleanup. Arrived 5 minutes early, finished in less than two hours.

Fast response and very professional work. Chad and his team did a great job removing 2 trees that were close to power lines. They showed up on time and worked very hard. They ground the stumps to below grade. Everything was left neat & tidy. I'll definitely use them again.

Chad was super friendly and knowledgeable about everything our tree needed and gave us a ton of helpful information about upkeep. He had an answer to all of our questions and pointed out things we never would have thought of. When it was over he sent me an email recap of everything he'd suggested that I can reference back to in the coming months. I will definitely use Chad Tree Experts again and would totally recommend them to anyone looking for a passionate, qualified arborist.
