We've had exactly the same PROBLEM with the service as another reviewer, Hw, says. His guarantee comes with an attitude and makes you feel so sorry to have his service in the first place. It's amazing to see an awful service like this still in business. Sue his own customers because he did a sh1tty job? Watch out, he might be a lunatic (and one that gives a positive review on this guy).

I had my carpets and furniture cleaned this week and what a great job!!!! The techs were nice and polite and knowledgable. Keep up the great work!!!

On November 21, 2009 Chem-Dry of Silicon Valley came out to my home that is located in the city of Saratoga to clean my carpets that was located in my guest cottage. It took the guy approximately 8 to 10 minutes to clean an area of approximately 800 square feet. He blew in and out so fast that when I questioned several spots on the carpet, he said that the carpets are still wet and when it dries the spots won't be there. I waited approximately 2 to 21/2 hours and when I went back in to the cottage the dirt was still there. I immediately phoned the number on the business card he left and was told by his wife that they will return on Friday ( 4 days later) to re-clean the carpet. This was nothing but further from the truth. On Friday morning the same guy came back out to the home bringing his attitude with him. He went in to the cottage and attempted to educate me on the carpet stating that the dirt that was there is not his fault. I also advised him that I took a carpet cleaning solution along with a white towel and rubbed the soiled area leaving me with a black towel. He immediately responded by saying " I DON'T BELIEVE YOU” In other words calling me a liar. He then took a white towel and began rubbing it expecting that to clean the carpet. He rubbed the carpet-soiled areas for approximately 45 seconds and than looked at me and said, there. I immediately said excuse me? I then asked him is he was going to bring his machine back in to redo the carpet. His response was absolutely absurd to say the least, he said that he was not given authority to re-clean the carpet, Mind you, that he is the owner of his company. I was wondering whom he was going to get the authority from, God himself?

I must admit that I used a lot of other Chem-Dry Companies and never had a problem whatsoever. Chem-Dry of Silicon Valley not only did a verrrrry poor job but the customer service was extremely poor as well. When the owner of the company left I told him that I was going to write a review on Yelp and he immediately responded that if you do that I will sue the "F_cking" hell out of you. Verrrry unprofessional to say the least !! The overall experience of service and treatment I received was extremely pool and I have no intentions of "EVER" using this company again. There are other Chem-Dry franchises out there that will provide me good quality service rather then put up with a company (husband and wife team) that won't stand behind their work or their word. If anyone was going to ask my opinion about Chem-Dry of Silicon Valley, I would respond by saying "RUN LIKE HELL" !!
